I had come here on business, but what I found
has scared me beyond belief. I am locked in. The only way out
Peter is in bed. Mum comes in to make him get up.
"Come on, " she says, " please get up, Peter."
She looks out of the window.
"The sun is out, and there's no school,"
It is summer time. School is over, and the long summer holiday is here.
Jane and Peter talk about their long summer holiday, and what they are going to do.

Father Wolf woke from his day's rest, yawned, and stretched his strong legs. It was time to go hunting. Suddenly a blood-curdling roar filled the air. The wolves recognised that sound. It was made by a tiger, but not just any tiger. Mother Wolf peered out of the cave. There was a rustling of leaves nearby. She stared in amazement as a tiny brown baby came crawling out of the bushes!
